TITAN.ATLAS · what she does

Your world has a history. Atlas learns, she cares, and she remembers it.

Conversations can pause. Threads can change. The intelligence underneath her can change. Atlas is being built so your work does not have to begin again.

Atlas keeps one continuous conversation with you, so you are never told to start over because it got too long.

Every message and every action is kept in a tamper-evident record on your own computer, so a missing or altered entry cannot go unnoticed.

01 · Where she lives

Built, switching on

The transcript is where you talked. It isn't where Atlas lives.

A conversation is one view into a continuing body of work. Atlas is being built to keep the relevant decisions and the reasons behind them available when you return, without asking today's model to carry every word at once.

Where it stands today

  • In use today

Each reply is built from your recent exchange with her.

The model gets a working context. Atlas keeps a history.

Built, switching on

A context window is temporary. Your history with Atlas doesn't have to be.

Built, switching on

Start a new thread because there is something new to discuss. Not because the old one ran out of room.

02 · The promise

No more running out.

This is where Atlas is going. The chip beside each promise says plainly where it stands today.

A model's own working window still exists. Today Atlas decides what goes into it: your recent exchange with her.

02Built and tested

No restart cliff.

When one AI service reaches its usage limit, the conversation will carry on with another.

AI service A
AI service B

    Where it stands today

Atlas can be connected to more than one AI service and is built to carry the conversation on to the next one when a service reaches its usage limit.

The conversation is kept in Atlas's own record on your computer, not inside any one service.

So a change of service is built not to mean starting over.

The message that reaches a limit may need one resend, and each connected service is built to ask for its own permission first.

A real switch to another service has not yet been needed in daily use.

    03Built and tested

No more threads retired for getting heavy.

A conversation will be able to carry on without being retired for getting heavy.

    Still one conversation.

    Where it stands today

Built and tested at small size: a conversation with Atlas does not have to be retired for getting long.

The whole conversation is kept on your computer, in one unbroken record.

She answers from the recent part of the conversation.

Every earlier turn is kept, and the app is built to let you scroll back to it.

How it behaves as a record grows very large is not proven yet, so we make no promise about that.

    04Built and testedIn design

    No more hours spent searching.

You will go to the moment you remember, not through the whole afternoon.

    Where it stands today

The arrows beside the conversation are built to step back or forward by a few exchanges, six hours, twelve hours or a day.

With your approval, Atlas lists the folders you give her, reads their files and shows the change history of a code project. She cannot alter any of it.

Asking for the decision you remember, and being taken to it, is in design.

Today the search box matches thread titles only.

      Ever persistent.

Restart or upgrade Atlas, and the conversation is still there.

      Where it stands today

Atlas's record of your conversations and decisions carries on through restarts and upgrades, with no reset and no gap.

Atlas was upgraded nine times in 42 hours, on the same record.

It is a persistent record, not a persistent presence: if Atlas restarts in the middle of a reply, that reply is closed as uncertain, not resumed.

Atlas runs on one computer, and she does not work while that computer is off.

03 · The work, not the chat

        In design

Your chat is not her to-do list.

Atlas is designed so you can tell her once and she carries the work forward, even when the chat has closed.
